About Our Client

Our client is building a revolutionary gateway to collecting and understanding medical data. Their platform works directly with patients to understand their medical history, automatically requests records from past providers, and applies AI to extract relevant insights for requestors. This technology has far-reaching applications across Healthcare, Legal, and Insurance industries.

The founding team consists of three experienced entrepreneurs, each with a proven track record of building and scaling early-stage startups. The company is backed by top-tier VCs including Y Combinator, Haystack, General Catalyst, and other leading investors in the space.

The Opportunity

As one of our first engineering hires, you'll have an extremely high degree of autonomy and agency. You'll own projects from start to finish, designing the requirements and implementing solutions directly with customers. What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

Full-stack generalist who thrives across the entire technology stack
Strong experience with React (frontend) and Python/FastAPI (backend)
Proven ability with prompt engineering and creating AI workflows
Fast learner who makes new technology useful, quickly
"Run through walls" mentality - no task is beneath you, and challenges fuel your drive
Hustler mindset with willingness to work in a high-intensity environment (60+ hours/week)
Based in NYC and excited about on-site collaboration

Ideal Background:

Prior experience at an early-stage startup or fast-growing company
Experience working with LLMs beyond basic prompt engineering
Background from top engineering schools (MIT, Stanford, CMU, Berkeley, Cornell preferred)
Track record of executing with speed while thinking strategically (80% execution, 20% strategy)

What You'll Be Doing

Building core features on the health data platform used by customers across Healthcare, Legal, and Insurance industries
Developing internal tools that scale their operations and improve efficiency
Supporting customer relationships and rapidly iterating based on feedback
Owning projects end-to-end from conception to deployment and maintenance
Collaborating directly with founders on product strategy and technical decisions

Frontend: TypeScript/React

Offer

Compensation:

Competitive salary: $120K - $150K
Meaningful equity: 0.75% - 1.50%
