Free Telecommunication Engineer/Specialist

ODRC expects the developer to be extremely well rounded in managing 50+ telecommunication tickets that may involve data entry, troubleshooting, critical thinking, inventory management, asset management, etc. This could also involve traveling to London, OH site to take inventory of the radios, etc./technology as it is sent/received for repair. Will involve some data entry aspects to track assets. The candidate is responsible for managing MARCS radio systems and creating and/or modifying program modules. The candidate should also have knowledge of Intune, tango management for managing mobile phone devices.
Basic requirements are:
Solutions design; Project technical planning; Analysis and design; Communication; Testing and implementation; Recommends software reusability guidelines; Plans and conducts formal mentorship activities for peers and/or lower-level staff via verbal instruction or technical documentation.

Required Skills:

4-year college degree

Experience: 6 plus relevant years

Key skills in MARCS radio, Tango and Intune

Experience within infrastructure (telecom / VOIP)

Local to Ohio and comfortable with travel within the State

Development Skills: Solutions design; Project technical planning; Analysis and design; Communication; Testing and implementation

Documentation: Create Technical documentation with application functionality and test methods, various flow diagrams (Business/Functional)

Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

Resolving tickets / critical thinking skills
