Free RN Supervisor

Nyack Ridge is currently recruiting two RN supervisors. Tucked in a peaceful country setting in Rockland County, Nyack Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is a leading provider of subacute rehab and long-term care. We are well-respected in the community for our long-standing reputation and over forty years of delivering quality patient care.
Available Shifts: 8:30 am-4:30 pm
The RN Supervisor is part of the nurse management team. It involves participating in department meetings, quality improvement initiatives, team committees, and, as appropriate, policy and procedure development. Other duties include:
Check on new residents admitted to the facility
Ensure that residents comfort and safety are maintained
Ensure that resident dignity and privacy are being attended to
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants
Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.
Requirements:
R.N. license to practice in the State of New York.
Two years of experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting (Preferred)
Must demonstrate leadership expertise in nursing
2 years of supervisory experience
Job Type: Full-Time
Excellent Pay, plus benefits
Rate: $50-$57/hr.
